वायनाड के सांसद राहुल गांधी अब पूर्व सांसद हो गए। मानहानि केस में कोर्ट से सजा मिलने के बाद राहुल को आज दूसरा झटका लोकसभा सचिवालय ने दिया, जब दो साल की सजा होने की वजह से उनकी संसद की सदस्यता रद्द कर दी गई। जैसे ही राहुल की संसद की सदस्यता खत्म होने की खबर फैली, देशभर में जगह जगह कांग्रेस के कार्यकर्ता सड़कों पर उतर पड़े। हालांकि राहुल ने कानून के तहत हुई कार्रवाइयों के जवाब में हर कीमत चुकाने का ऐलान कर दिया तो उनकी बहन प्रियंका ने भाई के खिलाफ हुई ऐक्शन को तमाशा करार दिया।
