15 मार्च को दुनिया के कई मुल्कों में इस्लामोफोबिया के विरुद्ध अंतरराष्ट्रीय दिवस मनाया गया. पिछले साल ही संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने इसकी शुरुआत की है, खास बात ये है कि भारत ने इस्लामोफोबिया के विरुद्ध घोषित इस अंतरराष्ट्रीय दिवस पर आपत्ति जताई थी और भारत ने कहा था सभी धर्मों के खिलाफ फोबिया बढ़ रहा है. इस विरोध के बावजूद कल भारत के दो राज्यों ने इस्लामोफोबिया के विरुद्ध अंतरराष्ट्रीय दिवस की वकालत की.
