Japanese fear early cherry tree bloom linked to climate change

In Japan, cherry trees are a familiar sight, and people enjoy their bloom during the warm spring.
But after the lifting of the state of emergency in the capital and neighbouring regions following a drop in COVID cases, some people have had a surprise.
Scientists say the trees are blooming earlier in the year, and that could mean they are being damaged by climate change.
