The assassination of Rahul Bhat, a government official at the Chadoora Tehsil Office in Budgam, Jammu & Kashmir, by terrorists on Thursday has brought to mind the horrific episodes of 1989 and 1990, when Kashmiri Pandits were targeted and forced to flee the Valley. According to reliable sources, Pakistani espionage agency ISI has begun creating 'hit-lists' of members of the minority population who will be slain in order to inflame tensions in the valley, similar to its nefarious deeds in late 1989 and early 1990.
