Jacob Rees-Mogg on Partygate, abortion in British life and the cost of living crisis

Jacob Rees-Mogg says that he believes that the reaction to public figures breaking lockdown rules is disproportionate.

The devout Roman Catholic also told Sky News' Beth Rigby that the number of abortions in the United Kingdom is "one of the saddest aspects of modern British life".

On the cost of living crisis, he said that the government "is there when everything else is collapsing" and it "cannot leave people unable to pay their fuel bills."
