Secretary-General and co-founder of the Palestinian National Initiative (PNI), Mustafa Barghouti, has accused Israel of committing "genocide" - citing that 9,000 Palestinian children had been killed so far in the war.

He went on to say, "this war has to stop and a ceasefire has to be established - during which time all prisoners could be exchanged and everybody can go home safely."
