Israel-Hamas war: UK families await word from loved ones trapped in Gaza

A communication blackout across Gaza imposed by Israel means many British families do not know whether their loved ones have survived an IDF ground and air assault on the Strip.

Inzy Rashid spoke to families who have not heard from family members since Friday's attack began.

The Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza says more than 8,000 people have been killed since the start of the conflict. At least 1,400 people were killed in Hamas's attack on Israel on 7 October, officials there have said.
