Sixteen more Hamas-held hostages were released in exchange for 30 additional Palestinian prisoners, marking the sixth such exchange of the week.

But with the pause in Hamas and Israel's fighting in the Gaza Strip nearing its end, talks to extend that deal are coming down to the wire.
