Israel-Hamas: Global diplomatic efforts underway to end ongoing conflict in Gaza

A global diplomatic effort is underway to find an end to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

The effort briefly involved Canada on Saturday night, as thousands gathered in Tel Aviv to demand the release of several hostages, including a Canadian woman believed to be held by Hamas. Testimonies of several released hostages were screened during the rally.

“Every day there was like hell,” recently released hostage Maya Regev said.

Qatar hopes to broker another pause in the fighting to get more hostages out of Gaza and more aid into the territory.
