Paramedics were called to the track on the first morning of the Isle of Man TT motorsport racing event which has seen 266 fatalities over 116 years.

The island's fastest-ever rider has said the race is an "obvious risk", adding that "a lot of people think we're just crazy or idiots", but "it's the opposite, you've really got to use your brain".
