A junta airstrike on a rebel held village leaves up to a 100 people dead, including schoolchildren. The junta said it was targeting terrorists.
The airstrike in the north-west Sagaing region was on a rebel stronghold as people gathered to mark the opening of an office connected to junta opponents. It's one of the deadliest airstrikes carried out by the Myanmar military since taking power in a coup in February 2021.
