In the aftermath of Hamas’ recent attack on Israel, comparisons with 9/11 are widespread. As fears of an escalating conflict rise, President Biden himself has warned Israel not to repeat the US's post-9/11 mistakes. But is Israel showing signs of doing just that?

We explore this with Spencer Ackerman. He is a Pulitzer Prize winner, columnist at The Nation, and author of the newsletter "Forever Wars" and of the book "Reign of Terror," which examines the 9/11 attacks and their grim consequences.
