Ireland's Prime Minister Micheal Martin is apologizing after a long-awaited report recounted decades of harm that was done by church-run homes for unmarried women and their babies. More than 9,000 infants died at the homes.
The damning report has caused anger in the country and also forced the head of the Catholic Church in Ireland to apologize for how the mothers and children were treated.
As Redmond Shannon explains, the apologies and the report's findings are falling short for many of the survivors.
