It has been one year since Iran's top general Qassem Soleimani was killed in a US drone strike in Iraq.
The anniversary of the assassination has been marked by protests in several countries in the Middle East.
In the Iraqi capital Baghdad, thousands of demonstrators gathered in Tahrir Square demanding the expulsion of American troops.
