Iraq is one of the most oil-dependent countries in the world, with revenues making up about 95% of its budget.
But in its semi-autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), supplies have been disrupted since Turkey stopped exporting 450,000 barrels a day from the region through its port of Ceyhan in March. Losses in oil revenues are estimated at around $5bn.

Al Jazeera’s Mahmoud Abdelwahed reports from Erbil in northern Iraq.
