The practice of only eating inside an eight-hour window - known as intermittent fasting - could raise the risk of fatal heart disease, according to scientists.

New research tracked 20,000 people over several years, and found those following the diet pattern were twice as likely to die from heart attacks or strokes as those who ate normally.
