Infrastructure deal could push Electric Vehicles to the front of car market

The US is on the road going electric---at least, that’s the plan with more than $7.5 billion in funding from the Biden Administration’s Infrastructure Plan aimed at increasing the number of electric vehicle chargers across the country. As it stands now, with nearly 43,000 public EV charging stations and around 120,000 ports—the US has a fraction of what can be found in the EU. As for the distribution---California currently has the same number of charging stations as 39 states combined. So will this new funding make a difference?
