The effects of the fighting in Khartoum have spread across the country to Sudan’s main port.
Soaring prices in Port Sudan, as well as a three-month delay in the payment of salaries, are taking a heavy toll.
The influx of people fleeing the fighting in Khartoum has made a complex situation even worse.
