Independent inquiry to be launched into prison escape

Justice Secretary Alex Chalk has confirmed an independent investigation into the escape of a prisoner from HMP Wandsworth will be launched.

The minister reiterated that "no stone may be left unturned" in getting to the bottom of what happened.

Mr Chalk said an investigation will also be launched into the categorisation choices related to Khalife.
