IMF's Gita Gopinath Speaks To NDTV: Gita Gopinath, chief economist at the International Monetary Fund, has said that 75 countries won't be able to achieve 40 per cent COVID vaccination coverage by the end of 2021, based on current projections. "What's very very important is what India does on the export front," she said, adding, "low-income countries, the ones that are getting the vaccines from COVAX, depended a lot on exports from India. Resuming those exports certainly helps."
