A question that has gripped the internet for the past four days – whether the head of government in the U.K. would outlast a head of lettuce – has finally been answered, after a British tabloid posed the question in a YouTube live stream.

U.K. Prime Minister Liz Truss resigned on Thursday after a tumultuous 45 days in office, marred by economic policies that roiled financial markets and a rebellion in her political party.

Of course, the political crisis in the United Kingdom is serious – but satirists and comedians are making the most of it.
