EXCLUSIVE: PM refuses to apologise for economic turmoil caused by Truss

Rishi Sunak has refused to apologise for the economic turmoil Liz Truss's short-lived government caused for the UK.

The prime minister, who is in Bali for the G20 summit, refused six times on Tuesday to say sorry for the decisions his predecessor made, which caused severe financial turbulence and continues to do so.

He acknowledged to political editor Beth Rigby that "mistakes were made," saying "What I want to do now is fix them."
