With Idalia heading into the Atlantic Ocean, Florida is assessing the damage from the hurricane that left a trail of flooding and destruction across the state.

It has since been downgraded to a tropical storm, but made landfall along Florida's Gulf Coast as a hurricane, before sweeping through Georgia and the Carolinas.

Global's Jackson Proskow reports on the monster cleanup and the state’s road to repairing billions of dollars of infrastructure.
