Hurricane Idalia makes landfall in Florida

Hurricane Idalia has made landfall in Florida, bringing a storm surge that is likely to be deadly.

US correspondent James Matthews spoke with Jan and Scott, two Florida residents who have fled their homes for shelter.

"You [have] got to run from water," Scott told him as he waited at the shelter in the city of Crystal River.
