Iceland’s emergency services have issued another order for people to evacuate a southern town.
This follows a release of toxic gas, suggesting an eruption might happen sooner than feared.
Residents returning to collect possessions have been told to leave immediately.
In addition, there are longer-term concerns about whether this region will be habitable in years to come.
Al Jazeera’s Harry Fawcett reports from southern Iceland.
