It's been four years since the Humboldt Broncos bus tragedy, when 16 people were killed and 13 injured after the bus carrying the hockey team was struck by a semi-truck driver that went through a stop sign in April 2018.

The City of Humboldt held a hybrid tribute Wednesday, with videos and online content to honour the team and everyone impacted by the tragedy. It's the first time since the first anniversary of the tragedy that an in-person event is being held, after memorials in 2020 and 2021 were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Montana Getty speaks with those who attended about the emotional pain that remains in the community.
