For nearly two decades, thousands of Afghans have risked their lives to work with U.S. troops, in what became America's longest war.
But that war is coming to an end, at least from a U.S. perspective, and it's leaving those Afghans feeling more threatened by the prospect of Taliban attacks as the U.S. troop withdrawal approaches.
Now President Joe Biden says those who have helped the U.S. will not be left behind.
So, will they have a future in the U.S. or will they continue to live under the threat of the Taliban?
