The past few days have seen a flurry of diplomatic activity over fear the Israel-Hamas conflict could spread.

Stability in the region could depend on the diplomacy and military support of the United States – even as another war continues thousands of miles away in Ukraine.

In a primetime address on Thursday, U.S. President Joe Biden said he would send an urgent funding request to Congress for $100 billion to support both Israel and Ukraine and Taiwan.
