How did the King celebrate Maundy Thursday?

The King and the Queen Consort have commemorated Maundy Thursday at York Minster Cathedral as part of Holy Week in the Christian calendar, leading up to Easter Sunday.

During the ceremony, the King presented 74 men and 74 women, signifying the age of the monarch, with a Maundy gift to thank them for their "Christian service" and their help in local communities.
