Another flight was impacted by severe turbulence this past weekend, with at least 12 people on board a Qatar Airways flight injured as a result of the rough air.

The incident has continued to spur questions about staying safe, but also what airlines, meteorologists and other officials are doing to try and avoid such incidents in the future. While storms and bumpy air near mountains can be managed, some of the worst is clear-air turbulence due to it being nearly impossible to avoid.

As Sean Previl reports, there are things pilots and other officials do to try for as smooth a flight as possible, but aviation experts say there's still more to be done.
