Home Secretary Suella Braverman has insisted that migrants arriving in the UK illegally on small boats will be "removed swiftly" under the government's plan to tackle the crisis.

Ms Braverman said that she is "very confident" the measures announced on Tuesday "are in compliance with our international law obligations".
