Heatwave in England hasn't hit this early for nearly 20 years

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued an amber heat-health alert for hot weather until 9am on Tuesday in the West Midlands, East Midlands, East of England, South East and South West.

Vulnerable people are being advised to take extra care in the heat - they include those with long-term health issues, including diabetes and heart problems.
