Extreme heat is one of many factors that makes Asia the most disaster-prone continent in the world. That's according to a new report by the World Meteorological Organization. Last year, extreme weather events across the region killed two thousand people and affected millions.

This latest report warns climate change is intensifying the severity of climate disasters. Floods, the melting of glaciers, along with extreme heat remain the major threats in Asia. And Bangladesh is one of the countries MOST vulnerable to the impacts of the climate crisis. It's currently facing its longest heatwave in 75 years.
