Hawaii: Second largest volcano is still erupting

Kilauea, the second largest volcano in Hawaii, has been erupting since the 7th of June.

Officials say the eruption currently poses no direct threat to nearby communities.

Kilauea's last eruption began in September 2021 and lasted 16 months.
