AIIMS chief Dr Randeep Guleria, Director told NDTV that despite a rise in cases, we can't predict whether this could be the beginning of a third wave since the second wave isn't over yet. "We are seeing around 40,000 daily cases, infections still high in Kerala and Maharashtra. However, if we don't control this plateau, it can lead to a resurgence of cases," he said.
