Haiti's prime minister Ariel Henry says he will resign once a transitional council is formed

A deployment of one-thousand Kenyan police officers, to help restore law and order in Haiti has been put on hold. It comes after Haiti's Prime Minister announced that he will resign.
Kenya's foreign ministry says without a political administration in the country, there is no anchor on which a police deployment can rest. Ariel Henry says he will step down after a transitional council has been set up.
