Guinea's military rulers have barred government officials from leaving the country.
Coup leader Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya summoned cabinet ministers and told them to hand over their passports and official vehicles.
The former French Foreign Legion officer led a military unit that removed President Alpha Conde on Sunday.
Later, he announced that the constitution was declared invalid and that the country's borders were closed.
Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque reports.
