In Guinea, three people have been killed in confrontations with police and protesters - on the second anniversary of the military coup there.
That is according to opposition groups. Meanwhile, the transitional president, Colonel Mamady Doumbouya, failed to turn up at a military government-sanctioned concert in the capital.

Al Jazeera’s Bernard Smith reports from the capital, Conakry.
