It was still a messy commute for residents of the Greater Toronto Area on Thursday, after several centimetres of snow were dropped on the region a day earlier, leading to bus cancellations and transit changes.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police, officers had to respond to hundreds of crashes in the past 24 hours, including more than two dozen on Thursday morning alone.
The City of Toronto is asking people to be patient as they continue to do as much plowing and salting as they can, and to take it slow while driving. Global's Marianne Dimain reports.
