It was a CCTV footage from Kerala's Pattanamthitta that provided the first clue to the police in the 'human sacrifice' case. Police said the main accused, Muhammad Shafi, is a psychopath and sexual pervert, who planned and executed the murders, roping in a couple -- Bhagaval Singh and his wife Laila -- promising them financial gains through ritual killings. Under police questioning, the Singhs confessed to the murder of Padma and Roselin, who had been missing since June, the police said. Here's a ground report by NDTV.
