Grant Shapps is set to replace Suella Braverman as Home Secretary after she said she resigned from her role.

The former Transport Secretary, who backed Rishi Sunak in the leadership race and has been critical of some of Prime Minister Liz Truss's policies, is expected to be confirmed as her replacement.

Sky News understands that Ms Braverman's departure is "not over a policy disagreement" but an "honest mistake".
