In our top story: Charles was officially proclaimed King in a ceremony of pomp and circumstance broadcast on TV and online for the first time in the history of accession of British monarchs. Blending the medieval and modern, King Charles III paid tribute to his mother, Queen Elizabeth II. Buckingham Palace has also confirmed the queen's funeral will take place Sept. 19. In less than a week, the U.K. has a new king and prime minister. Redmond Shannon reports on the historic moment seen Saturday and what's next.

Indigenous people have a special relationship with the Crown, including existing aboriginal and treaty rights recognized in the constitution. But colonialism has left a long and complicated legacy. Now there are calls for the new King to make changes. Neetu Garcha reports.
