On this episode of Global National: Pressure is mounting on London’s police commissioner to resign. Her officers are being criticized for the way they treated people attending a vigil for Sarah Everard. The 33-year-old was kidnapped and killed earlier this month. The man accused of the crime is a Metropolitan police officer. She was just walking home and those words have become a battle cry for many women who are sharing their own stories. Ross Lord reports.

To the COVID-19 vaccination campaign: Thousands of people in Ontario will soon be able to roll-up their sleeves. The province is launching its booking system for COVID-19 vaccines tomorrow with the capacity to book at least 800,000 appointments. But as Morganne Campbell reports, there are worries the demand will be too high for the system to handle.

Frontline workers are hoping the vaccination campaign will move them up. Outbreaks at busy warehouses and factories have been a common occurrence during the pandemic. As Katherine Ward reports, there are calls to protect those employees with the goal of protecting the rest of the province.

Turning to the WE Charity controversy: The organization’s founders, brothers Craig and Marc Kielburger, are set to appear before the House of Commons Ethic Committee. As David Akin reports, opposition MPs say they still don’t have a complete picture between the ties of WE and the prime minister’s family.

Plus, just when we thought it was getting warmer, Mother Nature had something else in mind. A massive and very late winter wallop is hitting the U.S. tonight. Southern California has been blanketed with snow while Texas is being hit with tornadoes. Jennifer Johnson reports.

COVID-19 has affected just about every part of our lives and it can have a profound effect on death. Because of COVID-19 restrictions a palliative care home in Quebec was forced to wheel a patient out into the cold. The reason? So she could see her loved ones one last time. Mike Armstrong has the heart-wrenching moment her family wants you to see.
