On tonight’s top story: After less than 10 hours of deliberating, a jury has convicted former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin of murder and manslaughter in the death of George Floyd. Jackson Proskow reports on the reaction and the possible sentence facing Chauvin.

n Canada, workplace outbreaks are partially behind Ontario's COVID-19 surge. As Eric Sorensen reports, some regions are not waiting for the province to take action, as calls grow for the government to adopt a paid sick leave program for essential workers.
