Oxana Malaya, the Ukrainian girl discovered running, jumping, eating and barking like a dog when she was at eight-years-old, turned 40 this month.

In a 2006 60 Minutes story, Oxana said her alcoholic parents left her out in the cold at the age of 3 and she sought refuge in the dog kennel. For the next six years, she lived with the dogs, with very little human contact.
Today, Oxana lives in a special care home looking after animals.
