The G7 summit of world leaders drew to a close in the Cornish sunshine, with the Prime Minister praising what he called its 'co-operative, energetic spirit'.

Boris Johnson said that more than a billion doses of vaccines would be provided to poorer nations.

He also said that the Brexit row over Northern Ireland had taken up a 'vanishingly small' proportion of the talks.

France's President Macron said 'inconsistencies' on the British side shouldn't be blamed on the EU.
