Leaders of the G7 nations have agreed on new sanctions they say will "starve Russia of technology, industrial equipment and services that support its war machine”.
On the first day of a three-day summit in Japan, they called for the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine as a condition for any peace talks.
