Fuel prices have hit a record high in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and other cities. After a three-day pause, petrol rates rose by over 20 paise and diesel rates by around 15 paise across metros. The consistent rise in fuel rates has been hurting household budgets and the big picture for the month is that fuel rates have surged by at least Rs 4 per litre in key cities.
