Fuel Prices: Domestic fuel rates have jumped to new fresh all-time highs across the country. After a hiatus of two days, the state-run oil marketing companies have hiked petrol and diesel prices by 35 paise each in the national capital as per details listed on the Indian Oil's official website. Petrol prices in Delhi breached the Rs 106/litre mark, currently retailing at Rs 106.19 a litre. Diesel, on the other hand, too jumped from Rs 94.57 per litre to Rs 94.92 per litre after witnessing a steep hike of 35 paise. Fuel rates vary across the states due to value-added tax (VAT).
