There has been some encouraging news for Ukraine about the delivery of German-made tanks.
Germany's foreign minister has told French television it will not stand in the way if Poland decides to send its Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.
That comes as French President Emmanuel Macron hosted German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for the first face-to-face Franco-German summit since 2019.
The two countries' leaders have shown a united front after the war in Ukraine exposed diverging approaches on key issues.
